The Society of Vertebrate Paleontology is grateful for your support of the auction. Please start today by gathering items to donate to the auction. No item is too small or unusual. These may include fossil replicas, books, souvenirs, vintage items, tools, reprints, artwork, toys, t-shirts and knickknacks – use your imagination. Fossils will not be accepted.

You may bring your donations to the meeting or ship items for receipt by Friday, October 24, 2024. Please use this form to communicate your intent to donate and shipping instructions.

Here are four of our special live auction items:

University of Nebraska, Natural History Museum has donated a wall-mountable cast of the University of Nebraska articulated baby rhino (Teleoceras major) from Ashfall Fossil Beds. 4 ft 9 in x 2 ft 10 in with a thickness of about 8 in.

Mosasaur: Jormungandr walhallaensis from North Dakota, specimen number NDGS 10838. This specimen is being donated in partnership with Dr. Clint Boyd. Length is 81cm.

Brachiosaurus altithorax, the DMNS reconstruction. Specimen based off of USNM 5730, found in 1883 near Canon City, CO in the Marsh-Felch quarry. Length 81cm

B-rex (Tyrannosaurus rex) MOR1125 right dentary cast. Collected from land managed by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Charles M. Russel Wildlife Refuge – Donated by the Museum of the Rockies. Dimensions- 75cm long 24cm tall (labial).
