Palaeoart Past and Present: the view from the UK

Palaeoart Past and Present: the view from the UK is a day-long workshop for members of the international palaeoart community to meet, learn about aspects of British palaeoart heritage and culture, and discuss matters of the day. Presentations from key members of the UK palaeoart scene will present on significant events and artworks in British palaeoart history, from the Crystal Palace Dinosaurs to All Yesterdays. Seminar sessions will provide a space for attendees to reflect on matters arising in the workshop and beyond. As a rare opportunity for the international palaeoart community to meet in person, attendees are encouraged to bring items likely to interest their peers, such as original or unpublished art, books or manuscripts, fossil specimens, replica sculptures etc. for a “show and tell” session.
