The Cleveland Museum of Natural History has recently undergone a large renovation, including moving all the permanent collections. Collections have been closed for ~2 years and the first collection that will re-open is the vertebrate paleontology collection in conjunction with the SVP meeting. Therefore, systems are currently being finalized for re-opening the collection.

The vertebrate paleontology collection houses specimens from the Ordovician through the Pleistocene. Highlights include large collections from the Ohio Shale Formation, Bluefield Formation and regional Pleistocene localities.
