The recent election for the Vice-President and Member-at-Large positions on the Executive Committee, the governing body of the Society, has concluded. We are pleased to announce that Taissa Rodrigues (Federal University of Espírito Santo, Brazil) has been elected Vice-President, and Jessica Blois (University of California, Los Angeles) has been elected Member-at-Large.
Congratulations to both, and we look forward to working with them on the Executive Committee.
Further Information
All officer terms begin at the Annual Meeting, consistent with the Society’s practice for leadership positions.
The Vice-President serves a two-year term. Members-at-Large serve three-year terms and advise the President on the Society’s activities, policies, and procedures. They also vote on Executive Committee decisions. In addition, all Executive Committee members, with the exception of the President, Past-President, and Treasurer, serve as liaisons to other Society committees.
