On May 29, 2026, the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) proposed sweeping changes to U.S. federal grant regulations (Title 2, Part 200 of the CFR) that would fundamentally alter how our science is funded, managed, and conducted. SVP and the Paleontological Society have issued this joint statement and call to action.
