Dinosaur Footprints and Bone Beds: Penarth and Westbury-on-Severn
Sunday, November 16 (7:30 am - 8:30 pm) - leaving from and returning to the conference venue, the International Convention Centre in Birmingham
This one-day trip, led by Ben Igielman (University of Birmingham), will visit a classic Late Triassic bone bed at Westbury-on-Severn in southwest England and a Late Triassic dinosaur footprint locality at Penarth in South Wales. This will provide an opportunity to see a British seaside town and eat dinner in a Cotswold country pub.
Accessibility
This trip involves walking and clambering over uneven rock surfaces to reach the field sites that may present a challenge to those with mobility issues.
