Parking and Transportation
Because there are numerous hotel options arranged by the Birmingham Tourist Council, SVP personnel were not able to survey every hotel made available for reservation. The hotel nearest the International Convention Centre (ICC), the Hyatt is accessible as per UK BS 8300 (revised 2018) for all entrances and resident parking. This includes automatic doors and ramps at all entrances and public restrooms.

Public transportation, which will be available for movement between the ICC and welcome reception events at the University of Birmingham are wheelchair, ramp, and elevator accessible. The public train stop at the University of Birmingham is one of the newest in the country, and is a model of accessibility.

Meeting Venue: International Conference Centre, Birmingham
The main entrances have automatic sliding doors. All conference-related rooms are accessible without need of stairs. Some doors have pull or push handles.

The ICC has multiple levels, all of which have wheelchair accessible ramps and elevators/lifts.

There is accessible parking available at the venue.

Accessible restrooms are located throughout the building.

Tactile/Braille signage is present on most elevators/lifts, but not all.

Service animals are limited to dogs for the visually impaired. Water bowls are provided for those animals upon request.
