Published four times a year, the JVP contains original contributions on all aspects of the subject of vertebrate paleontology including vertebrate origins, evolution, functional morphology, taxonomy, biostratigraphy, paleoecology, paleobiogeography, and paleoanthropology. The four volumes, the abstract issue (containing the abstracts for all presentations at the SVP Annual Meeting) and the Memoir series are sent to all members, except for Associate and Second/Spousal Members.
The News Bulletin, is published in an electronic format, twice a year. It includes: official SVP business, committee reports, news from members, various meeting announcements and more! The News Bulletin is accessible by all SVP members.
The BFV indexes world literature on fossil vertebrates available to the scientific community. The BFV is available, electronically, through the SVP Web site.
Opportunity to attend SVP’s Annual Meeting which offers a chance to learn the latest research findings, view exciting exhibits, participate is one-of-a-kind workshops and field trips and network among peers. Annual Meetings are typically held in either October or November, and are four days in length.
