Obituaries

Rosendo Pascual passed away Dec. 23, 2012 after a long illness. He was 87. Rosendo, spent a long and very productive career at the Museo de La Plata in Argentina where he was Chief of the Vertebrate Paleontology Department. 

He was responsible for the discovery and collection of many important Mesozoic and Tertiary mammals, and his research contributed greatly to our understanding of the taxonomy of Patagonian mammals, as well as the relationship between their evolution and climate and environmental change.
