Meet the SVP Management Team!

 

 

Jen Holland

Jen Holland has been with FASEB for over 6 years and has served a number of roles including extensive work as Executive Director and Conference Coordinator for multiple societies. With degrees in Zoology and Biological Anthropology, her original profession was in Molecular Biology and Forensic Science. Working on a range of projects from research to forensic identification in various military facilities utilizing the then new mtDNA mapping, she has had extensive scientific experience and base knowledge which aids in communicating with FASEB’s diverse client societies. She also has a hidden passion for paleontology and enjoyed long past internships at the Smithsonian. After an extended sabbatical to focus on family, she returned to the professional world in a role that allowed her to utilize her extensive organizational skills to facilitate society and meeting management while still being connected to her interests in the sciences.

 

Roya Jaseb, CMP

Roya Jaseb has been employed at the FASEB Office of Scientific Meetings and Conferences since 2008. Roya has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and over 15 years of experience working for non-profits in a variety of capacities which includes meeting management experience for 12+ years. Prior to FASEB Roya worked at the International Society for the Study of Xenobiotics, Association for Women in Mathematics, and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. Roya has been a member of the Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) for 10+ years and most recently a member of the PCMA International Task Force which focuses on developing educational programs for meeting planners involved in global meetings.


Jon Korman

Jon Korman joined FASEB in 2013 after working in business-to-business publishing, where he gained extensive experience managing client services and subscription fulfillment for publications covering a variety of industries. In his role as SVP Membership Coordinator, Jon serves as the point of contact for all membership and subscription-related inquiries and acts as liaison between SVP members and other departments, such as meetings, accounting, and the executive office.  Jon’s goal is to provide the highest possible level of service to our members.  

 

Kendra LaDuca

Kendra LaDuca is a Project Coordinator at FASEB.  She has experience as a meeting, conference and event planner with over ten years of experience in the United States and abroad. Her background includes experience in programmatic development, administrative and logistical management of major events for associations, universities and other institutions. She served as the Director of Conferences and Meetings for the American Association for Higher Education (AAHE), and was a manager for the American Council on Education (ACE), working with leadership programs for university-based Department Chairs.

 

The Larger Team at work – Accounting, Publications and Management Services

Many other professionals are working to ensure quality and timely service to all SVP members and the community. A team of accountants, information technology specialists, publication, meeting professionals and membership coordinators are ready to meet the needs of SVP.  FASEB provides a variety of logistic and management services.  Through these various disciplines, FASEB capitalizes on synergies and helps SVP to work more efficiently as an organization. FASEB has been supporting scientific societies and biomedical research for nearly a century!
