Apply or Nominate Someone for one of 18 Different SVP Awards, Prizes, and Grants

Recognize the achievements of a colleague and bring awareness to the important discoveries taking place in the field of vertebrate paleontology. The SVP is now accepting submissions for a variety of awards, grants and prizes through the SVP Online Awards Submission System and Lanzendorf PaleoArt Prize Online Submission System.

Online submissions will be accepted beginning Tuesday, March 8 at noon Central Time US.
(Note: the Taylor & Francis Best Student Article is not submitted online).

The Online Awards Systems will close Tuesday, May 10 at Noon Central Time US.
*Deadline exceptions are as follows:
Romer Prize submissions closes:  Thursday, April 14
Program for Scientists From an Economically Developing Nation (SEDN) closed:  February 15
Patterson Award closed: Thursday March 3

Special Award Announcement
The Predoctoral Fellowship Grant has been renamed the Mary R. Dawson Grant in honor of Dr. Dawson, the Curator Emeritus of Vertebrate Paleontology at the Carnegie Museum of Natural History in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The criteria for the Mary R.
