The Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology, (JVP)
, the most widely read journal in the profession
Published six times a year, the JVP contains original contributions on all aspects of the subject of vertebrate paleontology including vertebrate origins, evolution, functional morphology, taxonomy, biostratigraphy, paleoecology, paleobiogeography, and paleoanthropology. The six volumes, the abstract issue (containing the abstracts for all presentations at the SVP Annual Meeting) and the Memoir series are sent to all members, except for Electronic-Only and Second/Spousal Members. Members also have online access to all issues of the JVP including supplemental data and Memoirs.
The Bibliography of Fossil Vertebrates (BFV)
The BFV indexes world literature on fossil vertebrates available to the scientific community. The BFV is available, electronically, through the SVP Web site.
Registration for all SVP sponsored events are discounted for members. Additionally, all in stock SVP publications are available at reduced rates for members. Coming in 2014 - discounted publication fees in JVP with $350 color charges (non-member price is $450).
