There is a required 10% Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) that will be added to your total registration amount.
SVP 2019 Registration Fees
All registration fees listed below are in U.S. dollars. Discounted registration fees are offered until August 8, 2019 (11:59 PM, EST). Online and fax registrations must be paid by credit card (Master Card, Visa or American Express only). Registrations sent by mail must be accompanied by credit card information or check for payment. Checks must be drawn on a U.S. bank, in U.S. funds, and made payable to Society of Vertebrate Paleontology. Purchase orders will not be accepted.
Registration fees (except One-Day and Spouse/Guest) include the option to attend the Awards Banquet Ceremony on October 12, 2019. PLEASE NOTE: if you would like to attend the banquet, you MUST select the option during the registration process.
Press registration badges are granted only after acceptable press credentials have been presented and registration has been processed. SVP reserves the right to refuse press registration to an applicant for any reason. Photographers must have a press registration. To apply for press registration, please email Josie Leftwich at

Cancellation Policy
Notification of cancellation must be submitted to the SVP Registration Office in writing prior to August 8, 2019. Cancellations received by August 8, 2019 will be subject to a $120 non-refundable processing fee. No refunds will be issued after August 8, 2019. Substitutions are allowed at any time but must be requested in writing and be of the same membership status.
SVP Members – Regular, Emeritus, Member from a Developing Country (MDC), Junior, Student:
SVP Members may register at a special member rate. Student, Junior and MDC members all may register as a special rate.
Nonmembers
Become a full member of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology and register for SVP 2019 at the discounted member registration rate. Membership in the Society is open to all persons who share the stated purposes of the Society and who sign the SVP code of ethics statement. All members have electronic access to the Journal of Vertebrate Paleontology. For more information about SVP membership, visit the SVP website at

Nonmembers and Student Nonmembers registration includes admittance to all educational sessions, exhibits, poster viewing, and social activities.
Student Nonmembers may register at a special student nonmember rate.
Student Nonmembers
Student Nonmembers must e-mail or fax a copy of their current valid student ID within five (5) business days of registration to the SVP Registration Office in order to secure the appropriate registration rate. If a copy of the current valid student ID is not received within five (5) business days, the applicant’s credit card will be charged for the full registration rate.
Junior Members
Junior Members may attend SVP annual meetings at the Junior Member rate only if a parent or guardian (if the student is not emancipated) accompanies them. The parent/guardian must be a registered attendee at the meeting (at the guest attendee rate if not a member). In order to pick up their registration materials, the Junior Member and guardian/parent must be together at the meeting registration desk (at the meeting venue) and show a valid photo ID. The parent or guardian MUST accompany the Junior Member to all SVP social functions, and sit at the same table with the Junior Member while at the event. Social events include, but are not limited to: The Welcome Reception, Student Roundtable Forum and Reprint Exchange, guest speaker events, and Auction.
One-Day Registration (Does not include Awards Banquet Ticket)
One-Day Registration is available for Wednesday, October 9, Thursday, October 10, Friday, October 11, and Saturday, October 12. It includes admission to all educational sessions, exhibits, and social events scheduled for the day purchased. You may register at this rate for one day only.
Spouse/Guest (Does not include Awards Banquet Ticket)
For guests of primary registrants only. The Social Functions Only badge includes admittance to all social functions and coffee breaks. This registration category does not include admittance to technical sessions or Awards Banquet. Tickets for the Awards Banquet can be purchased onsite separately if space is available.
Field Trips and Workshops
Advance registration for Field Trips and Workshops is required using the online registration system ONLY. Registration will be processed on a first come, first served basis until maximum capacity is reached.
Please consult the circular or webpage for more details. Please look carefully at cost breakdowns for each field trip and locations and what to bring with you for each workshop.
